1. Why only women?
It is a fact that men and women are different both physiologically and psychologically. In order to be most effective and achieve optimum results this warrants a specialized approach. There are still a lot of misconceptions regarding women and functional training. Some of them are even perpetuated by the industry itself.
Being fit doesn’t have to mean having a six-pack and walking round in very short shorts. Intrinsically there is nothing wrong with that and if that is your goal by all means go for it! But it is just not attainable or even desirable for many of us. This Image actually can have a very adverse effect and simply doesn’t reflect what being fit is all about. Let’s find out what being fit and feeling great means for you and we’ll get you there!
2. Why do you only work with female coaches?
Hardly anybody would argue that the dynamics between a man and a woman and women amongst each other are very different. A good personal connection between a coach and their client is a key factor and can contribute tremendously to your success and overall experience. After all wouldn’t you say women are the experts on women?
3. What kind of women do you train?
With our “train smart “ approach we cater especially to women with an active and busy lifestyle, be it ex-pats, entrepreneurs or diplomats. But we welcome women of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re a pro-athlete or a total novice. Whatever your current physical fitness level is or what your personal goals are, we are dedicated to help you succeed!
4. I actually prefer working with a male coach, can’t you provide that?
We believe that women are best capable of training women and we stick to our believes. Only our Head Coach is man.
5. Your approach sounds nice but kinda soft, I want to be challenged!
We love going hard-core and we will push you to your limits and beyond! We’ll give you a rigorous regime of diet and training and work methodically. We always do an extensive intake to get to know each other, find out what’s right for you and then absolutely 100% go for it! It is all about you.
6. A healthy lifestyle isn’t that very boring?
Not at all! In fact you can and should have fun. It is all about balancing hard work and fun as with everything in life, find your equilibrium. Feeling physically fit and being in control of your own body is tremendously empowering and can have a profound effect on every aspect of your life. Ultimately leading to a more active, more fulfilling and happier existence
7. I wanna sign up! What can I expect,what is the protocol?
We like to get to know you before we start working together. Therefore we ask you to fill out the intake form when visiting our shop or after you orders. We also ask you some personal questions which might seem a bit strange. The purpose of this is that we not only like to match the skillset of our coaches to your goals but also your personalities. If you can connect to someone on a personal level working together will be much more fun and an overall more rewarding experience. We can do the actual intake online either via Skype or Facetime if you own an Apple device.
1. In which areas do you currently operate?
FitbyDesign is a young team and we are still growing. Currently we offer our services in the region Hilversum/het Gooi. We are working hard to expand our services to other regions.
2. You come to your clients homes, don't you miss professional gym equipment?
No, you'd be surprised to see what is actually possible with very little means, resourcefulness and your own bodyweight.
3. I really prefer working out in a gym, is that possible?
Off course it is, we have the facilities of a select number of health clubs at our disposal.
